Frequently Asked Questions

1. where are you located?

Sessions take place in my warm and welcoming home studio in Melbourne's south-east suburbs. The space is designed to feel calm, comfortable and relaxed for both parents and babies.

2. what should we wear?

Neutral colours, soft textures, and simple outfits photograph beautifully and keep the focus on your baby.

3. What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?

To secure your booking, a $50 non-refundable deposit is required. This confirms your session date and time.

If you need to reschedule, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice. Your deposit can be transferred to a new date (subject to availability).

Cancellations or rescheduling requests made with less than 48 hours’ notice will result in the deposit being forfeited. A new deposit will be required to secure another booking.

In the unlikely event that I need to reschedule your session, your deposit will be fully transferred to a new date of your choice.

4. how long does it take to receive the final photos?

Please allow up to 3 weeks for gallery delivery.

5. When is the best time to book a newborn session?

Newborn sessions are best scheduled within the first 5-14 days after birth, when babies are naturally sleepier and love to curl up. I recommend booking during pregnancy to secure your place, with flexibility around your due date.

6. What if my baby needs time to settle?

All sessions are baby-led and unhurried. There's plenty of time allowed for feeds, cuddles, and settling. We always move at your baby's pace.

7. Is it too late to book a newborn session?

Don’t stress at all! While the ideal window for newborn sessions is within the first few weeks, you’re still more than welcome to book in up to 3 months.

At this stage, sessions are gently adapted to suit your baby, focusing on natural, relaxed moments rather than posed setups - resulting in beautiful, timeless images.

8. Can we keep our photos private?

Yes. Your privacy is fully respected. Images are only shared with your permission.
